I HAD PACKED NOTHING
Just my mind, full of thoughts.
Two of my friends with I
Waiting for the van to arrive.
Before boarding I met my fellow
Poetess…embraced her as she made
Herself cozy. Wished me a safe journey,
TO A PLACE UNKNOWN.
The three on the somewhat,
Outdated yet powerful engine,
The voyage began.
Other passengers were neither
Smiling nor crying.
I couldn’t tell their mood.
Check point, holy building
I think to seek, mercies.
COULDN’T WE ALL JUST PRAY
My tumultuous mind was spinning
With and in questions.
To and on the list of our stops.
Looked at my watch,
Located the sun,
Gazed at the clouds,
Searched for a sign
At and in the end of the horizon.
I JUST SAW A CLOSE RELATIVE
Speed pace past our vehicle.
As if we were paused in time.
She glanced and whispered,
Something unmake able, amidst
The roaring engine, I heard it.
‘She doesn’t want those two men,
To know she’s building a house’
I as baffled as you are.
I WANTED TO ALIGHT, RUN TO HER
Just to seek clarification
I couldn’t get off,
I felt uneasy, confused
The more. I had to do something.
I DID THIS
Snapped out of my morning, reverie.
Sat up, took my yellow black inked tool.
Told or telling you about it.
Thanks for your time.
P.S: poetry is a story, travelled by the lonely
Accompanied by,
creative sincerity.
In a form of greater mentality.
